Active Life Club (ALC) is granted Commonwealth Legacy Branding for ” Youthability” programme. This is unique programme to engage young people using sports as a medium, building transferable skills through coaching and mentoring, sports coaching certificates, actively involving on the management committee. ALC delivered personal development programmes, PX2 and STEPS TO EXCELLENCE to build confidence and setting goals. ALC organised outdoor pursuits to develop team work skills.

Young people involved in conducting research’s on youth issues such as school placement and employablity, integration, career and education. This helped young people to learn research methods, recruiting and facilitating focus groups and presenting findings to professionals, academics , young people, parents and voluntary & public sector. This is helping young people to secure internships and finding employment in their choice of fields. Young people are going to Colleges and Universities with their choice of courses. Young people are regularly mentored & coached and work shadowing opportunities are offered to develop social links and compete in labour market.
